Freiburg Science Fair
On the market, into the heads
One square, several large tents, around 60 exhibitors, and a stage: this is what "hands-on research" looks like at the Freiburg science fair and brings science to life in the heart of the city. Passionate researchers from Freiburg's universities, research institutions, and research-based companies from the region will present their projects to the public with significant commitment and many ideas. This allows young and old visitors to participate in the big and small miracles of science. Scientists are available to answer questions and explain their work with exciting and vivid experiments and activities.
Science Fair 2017
The MPI of Immunobiology and Epigenetics also regularly participates in the science fair. There is always something new to discover at the stands of the institute: Fruit flies under the microscope, sequencing robots, games and information material on Chromatin and much more. Researchers from the Institute answer visitors' questions and explain the various research topics of the MPI.
