MPG invites graduates, doctorates and early career researchers in Africa (Mentees) as well as junior scientists, PhDs and Postdocs at Max Planck Institutes (Mentors) to apply for the Artemis MPG African Mentorship Programme
ARTEMIS – “AFRICAN RESEARCH TALENTS EXPERIENCING MENTORING IN SCIENCE”
The ARTEMIS Mentorship program of the Max Planck Society aims to build a partnership which fosters career goals through exchange of experience, networking and interpersonal relationship. This amongst many is what the Max Planck Society's Mentorship programme offers to Mentors at MPIs and Mentees at African universities and research institutions.
The programme aims for interested Mentees (graduates or doctoral candidates) at African Universities and research institutes who are looking for advice on how toadvance their studies and/or scientific career. With the support of Mentors, Mentees are given the opportunity to shape their career path through international networking, gain knowledge and experience while enhancing their personal and professional skills in order to define and realize their career goals.
Additionally, we are looking for junior scientists, PhDs and Postdocs at MPIs who are interested in a scientific exchange with graduates, doctorates and junior researchers in African countries and the African cultural environment.
